Welcome to my E-portfolio! My name is Harley Byrne and I am a senior majoring in Professional Sales, Marketing, and Management, graduating in May of 2023.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and my dog Teddy.

WHY SALES?
My whole life has always been filled with competitions. Whether that be playing on competitive softball teams from the age of 4 up until college, or competing in a wide array of debate competitions across Texas in high school. I quickly realized that so many of my interests and passions involved and required my competitive nature.

When I got to Baylor, I knew I wanted to go into the business school, but wasn't 100% sure where I would end up. After my guidance counselor advised me to look into the Professional Sales program, I went to an info session where I watched recordings from different role plays and competitions. I instantly knew that is where I wanted to be.

After competing in both internal and external sales competitions, I soon learned that I was not simply competing against my peers, but rather myself in order to effectively use what sales tactics and techniques I had been taught, and how to continue growing in my skills.

My core values are: faith, family, determination, sincerity, and compassion. It is my goal to begin a career after graduating in May where I can consistently live out these values every day.
